This map shows the growing number of residents and councils who are helping to enable children to play out more. We add information to it when we know of activity happening on streets and in neighbourhoods.
You can find out what’s happening where you live and see whether there are others doing things locally who are happy to give you support and advice. Our Local Authority Directory lists the areas where most change is happening. If you are already doing something on your street and it’s not yet on the map, please email us to let us know.
There are a number of streets in Brighton and Hove that have had playing out sessions. Some hold sessions regularly and some have tried it as a one-off. You can read about a successful event in Southdown Avenue in the Argus.
There is a Street Play in Brighton and Hove Facebook page where you can find out the latest news.
