This map shows the growing number of residents and councils who are helping to enable children to play out more. We add information to it when we know of activity happening on streets and in neighbourhoods.
You can find out what’s happening where you live and see whether there are others doing things locally who are happy to give you support and advice. Our Local Authority Directory lists the areas where most change is happening. If you are already doing something on your street and it’s not yet on the map, please email us to let us know.
In June 2014, Enfield’s first regular play street began on Devonshire Road in N13. You can read more about it on the Palmers Green Community website.
Hopefully this will be the first of many streets holding playing out sessions in the borough.
If you live in Enfield and would like to get children playing out where you live, you can contact the Devonshire Road organisers by email.
You can also contact London Play’s Street Play Advocacy worker Richard Driffield for support.
