This map shows the growing number of residents and councils who are helping to enable children to play out more. We add information to it when we know of activity happening on streets and in neighbourhoods.
You can find out what’s happening where you live and see whether there are others doing things locally who are happy to give you support and advice. Our Local Authority Directory lists the areas where most change is happening. If you are already doing something on your street and it’s not yet on the map, please email us to let us know.
Residents in Southwark can apply for regular road closures for up to three hours.
You can download the application pack from the council website.
If you are a resident and would like support in getting street play going where you live, you can contact Rich Driffield from London play.
We’d love to hear from anyone running street play sessions in Southwark – do get in touch.
