This map shows the growing number of residents and councils who are helping to enable children to play out more. We add information to it when we know of activity happening on streets and in neighbourhoods.
You can find out what’s happening where you live and see whether there are others doing things locally who are happy to give you support and advice. Our Local Authority Directory lists the areas where most change is happening. If you are already doing something on your street and it’s not yet on the map, please email us to let us know.
Residents in Sutton are able to apply to close their roads for street play as part of the Take Pride Take Part festival. In 2014, closures were possible between the months of June and September and hopefully something similar will happen during 2015. You can download the 2014 guidance notes for a road closure order on the council website here
