New Year Job Opportunity in Bristol BS3

posted this in Uncategorized on 06/01/2015

Happy New Year from all of us at Playing Out. Let’s hope 2015 is a year when children’s rights to play and belong in the streets where they live are understood and supported even more. Thanks for all the news, experiences and ideas so many people have shared with us and each other about changes in their streets over the last year.

This year we will continue to work both in Bristol and across the UK supporting anyone wanting children to play out safely on their streets. We have recently received funding from the Greater Bedminster Community Partnership in south Bristol to focus on raising awareness about the benefits and possibilities of playing out. Through this we aim to engage more residents in taking action on their own streets to make them more liveable and playable. We are looking to recruit one or possibly two people working freelance to attend local events and talk to people about playing out. If you have some experience of playing out and are interested you can download theĀ job description. Do give Ellie Freeman a call on 0117 953 7167 or email [email protected] if you want to talk about the role and what it would involve.
