For this year’s Southbank Bristol Arts Trail, Playing Out hosted an exhibition of several street-based projects by our own resident-artist Amy Rose who said:
“Beginning with the image of the open door, these works trace the relationship of small, autonomous action to larger place-making and transformation. Works to amuse and inspire in cardboard, packing tape, tippex and permanent marker.”
The exhibition brought lots of new visitors to the Playing Out shop (148 North Street, BS3 1HA) and engaged people with these themes in new and fun ways, including transforming their own street using google earth and felt-tips! The exhibition will stay up now until the summer so do pop in to have a look if you are in the area…
