Following a successful pilot in 2013 when 15 streets in Adur and Worthing became temporary play streets, residents in Adur and Worthing can now apply for up to 12 temporary road closures on days and times of their choosing. If you live in Adur and Worthing and want to get your street playing out, you could join the local Facebook group for ideas and support. Also ‘Adur and Worthing Playing Out’ community organisation is promoting and linking up residents who are interested in street play – more details on their website.
