The council are interested in developing a policy for playing out in Calderdale, there’s been some local media about it in the Halfix Courier here.

After 3 years of lobbying, Councillor Ashley Evans is encouraged that the council might drive the project forward in the borough. The proposal was approved in December 2019, then put on hold earlier this year due to the pandemic; but Councillor Evans is hopeful the issue will move up the agenda now meetings are up and running in virtual form.
