See how the street play movement is growing across the UK.

Find out what’s happening where you live and if there are streets already playing out. We know that there are many active streets not listed here so please let us know of anything you are doing so we can add it to the map. You can also check our Local Authority Directory to see if your council has a street play policy yet.

What’s happening in Norwich?

Residents in Norwich can apply to close their roads for street play from one off up to weekly using a single application (there is a small fee). There’s a group of residents lobbying them to improve the policy, you can connect with them on their facebook group.

Lumi has a great list of resources available to residents for closing street, for play and parties, with links and helpful info.

There are a number of streets that have held regular playing out sessions in Norwich – you can read a report from 2013 in the Eastern Daily Press.

If you’d like to contact other people organising play streets in Norwich you can join the Norwich Play Street Facebook Group.
