Residents in Norwich can apply to close their roads for street play from one off up to weekly using a single application (there is a small fee). There’s a group of residents lobbying them to improve the policy, you can connect with them on their facebook group.

There are a number of streets that have held regular playing out sessions in Norwich – you can read a report from 2013 in the Eastern Daily Press.
