Info hereWe’re adding a pin for every area where parents, residents, a community organisation or the council (and ideally, all of them together) are starting to change things for children through play streets and related ideas. The movement is growing! See what’s happening near you and tell us if there’s anything to add. If you’re interested in starting a play street or in any other action to support children playing out, do get in touch – we can help.

You can play out in the whole of Cambridgeshire! As reported in Cambridge News on 6th August 2017.
A Cambridgeshire County Council spokeswoman said: “The county council is committed to supporting communities across Cambridgeshire in confidently allowing their children to safely get outside to play.
“Our officers have been working with parents and our highways team to revise the paperwork for temporary road closures to help make the process easier for parents, while also offering guidance on safely implementing road closures.
“The council fully supports the Playing Out scheme as a way to encourage children to get outside in the fresh air and be active, particularly over the summer.”
Guidance notes and application forms are available here.
