We’re adding a pin for every area where parents, residents, a community organisation or the council (and ideally, all of them together) are starting to change things for children through play streets and related ideas. What’s happening in Oxford?

People living in Oxford can apply for a road closure using the council’s procedure for street parties, you can use a single form for several dates.

In 2011, the first playing out sessions in Oxford were held – you can read about the first one in the Oxford Mail.

If you are interested making Oxford’s streets friendlier places you may also be interested in the Oxford Streets for People initiative, run by Oxford Civic Society.
